I’m the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead for the School of Digital Arts (SODA) and a Senior Lecturer in Games Art.

Originally trained as a 3D designer, I’ve worked in a variety of roles across the creative digital industries, driven by a passion for continuous learning and skill development. I bring over 20 years of experience teaching games and creative digital media, spanning both further and higher education, and supporting students from Level 3 through to postgraduate supervision.

I hold an MA in Animation, and my work has been featured in a documentary exploring British women in animation, as well as presented at educational conferences. My design background continues to shape my academic and creative practice.

I’m deeply committed to widening participation in the arts and decolonising the curriculum in art and design education. I’m particularly interested in embedding these principles into non-traditional discourse spaces and using creative practice to reflect culture and drive positive societal change.

Having worked as Programme Lead, I’ve led the development of SODA’s Foundation Year and BA Games Art programmes. In my role as EDI Lead, I’m responsible for developing the school’s strategy and supporting programme teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and inclusive experiences for all students.
