Ewen Glass Senior Lecturer, Screenwriting

I’m a professional screenwriter, with a number of theatrically distributed feature films and shorts to my name. TV work includes Hollyoaks, RTE Storyland (my drama A Sign of Things was nominated for Debut Broadcast writer at Edinburgh TV Festival’s Debbie Awards) and commissions from major broadcasters in UK/Ireland and beyond.

I have previously been on BBC Writersroom Belfast Voices and Edinburgh TalentLab schemes, and have been awarded full voting membership of BAFTA and IFTA. Current work includes a psychological thriller feature film for a company in Ireland, and Canada-UK TV co-production, The Dog Walker. I am here to help students develop strong narrative-led projects and find their voice in the modern filmmaking landscape.
