Loran Dunn is a BAFTA nominated Film Producer.

She runs Manchester based production company Delaval Film listed as one of the Top 50 Most Creative Companies in England by Creative UK and The Times. Delaval’s work is recognised for being risk taking, authored and diverse. Producing live action, stop-motion animation, and documentary work for cinema and television with funding/broadcast partners including BBC, Film4, BFI, and SKY.

Her most recent feature film, Hoard, premiered at Venice Film Festival picking up four prizes including Most Innovative Film, was released in cinemas in the UK, Europe and US in 2024, and later received a six BIFA nominations and a BAFTA nomination.

Her first feature, A Deal With The Universe, was released in cinemas in 2019 to critical acclaim.

Loran has extensive experience developing new and emerging filmmaking talent, and was Development Mentor and Executive Producer for BBC New Creatives, Channel 4’s Random Acts, British Council and BFI’s More Films For Freedom and she was also the Producer for Sky Arts, National Youth Theatre and Creative England’s new talent scheme ShortFLIX.
