I am a Senior Lecturer in Web Design & Coding in SODA and I teach across various degree programmes including Web & User Experience Design, Creative Digital Design, and Digital User Experience (UX). My role focuses on the application of UX/UI within a practice-based discipline that marries creativity and technology with coding. My skillset as a multidisciplinary designer includes:

Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, AI, Creative Digital Design, Web Design, Coding, App Design, Service Design, Interface Design / Prototyping, Physical Print Design, Digital Design, Motion Graphics / Moving Image / Animation, Television / Film / Audio/Video, Branding, Typography, Photography, Data Visualisation/ Infographics, History, and Theory of Design.

As an experienced HE lecturer and mentor, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Institute (Advance HE), I have over a decade’s international experience spanning across five universities, in three countries, and over two continents.

Around the area of research exploration, I have publications around design, UX, education, culture, AI, and HCI: from investigating the impact of synchronous and asynchronous learning approaches, to a comparative study of design students in a developing country (Botswana) verses a developed country (UK). So far this has culminated in various published articles, guest speaker invitations, and presenting at conferences both in the UK and abroad.
